New ITAM 1.4.0 Release
In this version of ITAM, we enhanced the logic for automatic and manual linking of assets and configuration items.

You can now manage asset catalogs and determine whether automatic linkage to a configuration item record is required upon registering a new asset, or whether this linkage can be established later (manually or automatically).

We have also added an optional feature to register asset records based on configuration items. This functionality enables populating information about assets that need to be accounted for, using configuration items already created in the system (e.g., as a result of IT infrastructure import or discovery). A new “Asset Administrator” role has been introduced to validate asset records created in this manner.

Additionally, we have refined the operational asset accounting and requirement gathering functionality to allow for a distinction between the asset owner company and the company using the assets.

We have updated the ITAM 1.4.0 Demo Data Package to align with the latest platform and ITAM 1.4.0 application updates.
