Mass Reassignment of Responsible Employees
You can now mass-reassign records from one employee to another. This is useful in cases of vacation or termination.
A new UI action, Reassign Records, has been added to the hamburger menu of the Employee form. Clicking it opens a modal window with a new widget for configuring reassignment. You can specify:
- The new responsible employee;
- The tables whose records need to be reassigned;
- The responsible field in each selected table. This field’s value will be overwritten upon confirmation of reassignment;
- Conditions that records must meet for reassignment. Conditions can be configured separately for each added table.
After successful reassignment, the user-created table, field, and condition configuration will be saved in a new table: CRM User Preferences (crm_user_preference). On subsequent interactions with the widget, it will open with the previously applied reassignment settings. Each successful reassignment updates the preferences in the system.
A default configuration for the reassignment widget has also been added, stored in the new system property crm.employee.reassignment_config.default.
